Robert Harman, Sr.

Robert "Bobby" M. Harman, Sr., 73, of Sugar Grove, WV passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 10, 2021.  He was born in Petersburg, WV on March 26, 1948, son of the late Ellsworth Harman and Neva (Hinkle) Harman Sites.

Bobby was a telephone technician for Bell Atlantic/Verizon for 30 years.  He spent his retirement years enjoying the outdoors, hunting and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his two children, Lynne Harman McKay and husband, Erik of Jefferson, MD and Robert M. Harman Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Sugar Grove, WV; former wife and mother of his children, Pat Harman Hoover; and brothers, Boyd “Bud” Harman, Sr. of Brandywine, WV; Larry Harman of Baker, WV and Harold Harman of Rockville, MD; as well as his grandchildren, Makenzie Harman, Luke Harman and Morgan McKay.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings:  Bonnie Berry, Stephen, Stanley and Thomas Harman.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Hospice, 70 N. Sturmer St., Belington, WV 26250.
