Judy Carol (Hodge) Kincaid, 73, of Staunton passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Augusta Health.
She was born December 8, 1947 in Bath County, a daughter of the late Bland Newton and Minnie Gladys (Simmons) Hodge.
A homemaker who loved holidays and family gatherings, Judy, was the “glue that held it together.” She could talk for hours on the phone, enjoyed playing cards, listening to classic country music, reading and loved to cook. Judy was the strongest, most giving and understanding person. Above all, Judy will be remembered as compassionate, loving and fiercely loyal.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Glenn “Bill” Kincaid; infant brother, Bland Hodge Jr.; and sister, Mary Agnes Tenerowicz.
She is survived by her sons, Robert “Bobby” Keyser of Staunton, Wayne Keyser of Williamsville, Allen Keyser and wife, Hope of Galax and Kevin Robertson of Staunton; brothers, Charles Hodge and wife Debbie of Raphine and Robert “Doc” Hodge of Middlebrook; sisters, Doris Bartee and husband, Ron of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Janet Gray, Patsy Hupman and Diane Wilson, all of Fishersville; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Cash and husband, Anthony, Aaron and Kayla Flick, Kayla Taylor, Cameron and Chase Keyser, and Madisyn and Dylan Thompson; former daughter-in-law and special friend, Hope Keyser of Waynesboro; as well as a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens with pastor Barry Newman officiating.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Cash, Chase and Cameron Keyser, Larry Tenerowicz, Dwayne Shifflett, J.R. Martin, Nathan Tenerowicz, Steven Gray and Roger Kincaid.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Judy Kincaid Memorial Fund, to offset end of life expenses, c/o Blue Grass Valley Bank, PO Box 516, Monterey, Va. 24465.
