Gaynelle Dietrich

Gaynelle “Susan” (Rexrode) Dietrich, 90, of Boca Raton, Fla, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 23, 2018.

She was born July 9, 1927 in Cass, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lon and Ethel Rexrode. She married Conrad Dietrich on March 27, 1982 who preceded her in death on April 15, 2007.

Gay enjoyed traveling with her husband and especially spending the summers in Massenutten, Va. She also loved playing bridge, reading books and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters Lucille Stewart and husband Allen, and Freda Myers; and brother James “Punk” Rexrode and wife, Beth.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Janine Van Stone, Bob and Toni Van Stone, Ron and Joan Van Stone; daughter Robin Coleman; grandchildren Jennifer Coleman, Max and Sam Van Stone, Jacob Van Stone, Bobby Van Stone, Amy Lopez and husband, Rod, and David Knisley and Shannon; four great-grandchildren; niece Debra Lambey; step-daughter Katherine Tafuri and husband John and their children Lauren and Andrew Tafuri; step-son Chuck Dietrich and wife Amy and their daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Sean Handerhan and Tara and Eric Martinez; as well as three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 in Wade Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Habilitation Center, Manufacturing Services, 22313 Boca Rio Road, Boca Raton, Fla. 33433.
