Donna Lotts

Donna Lynn (Varner) Lotts, 58, of Monterey passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Augusta Health Center in Fishersville, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 18, 1959, in Hot Springs, a daughter of Martha Mae (Wimer) Varner of Monterey and the late Douglas B. Varner.

Donna was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She had been a secretary at several businesses including the Department of Engineering for the City of Staunton, Cambata Industries, as well as The Homestead. Donna loved traveling with her husband, riding her motorcycle and antiquing. She loved animals, especially Dixie, the White’s family dog. She loved her niece and nephew, Tiffany and Corey, very much and enjoyed taking them on trips with she and David.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her husband, David Lotts, of Monterey, whom she married November 14, 1996; a sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Pete White of Mustoe; niece, Tiffany Michelle White of Mustoe; nephew, Corey Douglas White of Mustoe.

A memorial service will be held at Obaugh Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chip Hill officiating. Inurnment will follow in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Obaugh Funeral Home at 1 p.m.
