Wilmer Botkin

Wilmer Eugene Botkin, age 72, of Sugar Grove, WV died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at his home.
He was born May 13, 1933 at Sugar Grove, WV a son of the late Arlie Clement and Sarah Lydia (Simmons) Botkin. On November 16, 1962, he married Darlene B. Botkin, who preceded him in death on January 6, 1996.
He was also predeceased by a brother, William Harlan Botkin and an infant sister.
Mr. Botkin retired from Pendleton County Bank and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Crummett Run Church of the Brethren, Sugar Grove VFW Post 9666, Pendleton Masonic Lodge 144, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 138 and a past member of South Fork Rescue Squad and South Fork Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by a niece, a nephew and a great-niece and two great-nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2006 at Crummet Run Church of the Brethren by Rev. Jerry Smith. Burial will be in Crummett Run Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Enyart, Dennis, James and Elmer Bodkin, Ralph and Nelson Simmons and Addam Botkin.
