William "Billy" Reynolds

William "Billy" Robert Reynolds, 28, died Tuesday morning, March 25, 1997, at Augusta Medical Center.

He was born July 20, 1968 at Staunton, a son of John B. and Marlene (Newman) Reynolds.

He was a member of Monterey Presbyterian Church and the Highland Handy Group. He graduated from Highland High School in 1990.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Marilyn Starkey of Rocky Mount; step-grandmother, Hazel Reynolds of Burnsville; niece Sarah R. Starkey and a nephew Clark R. Starkey of Rocky Mount; aunt Connie Martin of Pittsburg, Penn; aunt and uncle, Jean and Rob Hiner of Staunton and their families; special friends from the Highland Handy Group, Kirk King, Charles Deaton, Gary Billingsley and Kathy Gutshall.

A service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Bill Moore and Jerry Ginn, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marty and Steve Hiner, Austin Shepherd, Bill Bratton, John and Bill Wagner, Cole Armstrong and Kenny Harold.

Honorary pallbearers will Jerry, Randy, Wickie, Eric, Greg, Bill, Ryan and Nick Hooke; Jay, Jacob and John Hull and friends attending.

The family will received friends at the Reynolds residence in Monterey from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or may call at the funeral home in McDowell.
