Warner A. Colaw, 64, of Blue Grass died Wednesday morning, October 5, 1994 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
He was born April 18, 1930 in Blue Grass, a son of Cornelius McKindley and Mildred Racey (Warner) Colaw.
He was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church and had worked as a lumberman and for Hanover Shoe Co. for five years.
Surviving are a son, Allen D. Colaw of Monterey; five brothers, William F., Conley M., John M., James B., and Jacob Colaw, all of Blue Grass; six sisters, Darlene Crummett of Blue Grass, Thelma Baker of Culpeper, Anna Davenport of Ashland, Lois Cayton of Franklin, WV, Beverley Sarbra of Staunton, and Cornelia McLaughlin of Hyattsville, Md.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Colaw, Joe Will, Bardon Warner, Carl Hull, Jim, Ross Hefner and Charles and Eston Fleisher.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends, 7-9 Friday evening at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell.
