Walter Martin Rexrode

Walter Martin Rexrode, 65, of Blue Grass died March 26, 1993 at his home.

He was born Jan. 25, 1928 at Cave, W. Va., a son of George M. Rexrode and Elva Harper Bowers, both of Franklin, W. Va.

He was a member of the Forks of the Water United Brethren Church.

 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Matie Gum Rexrode of Franklin, W. Va.; a son, Lynn Martin Rexrode of Franklin, W. Va.; a stepdaughter, Carol Leach of Waynesboro; a sister, Anna Grace Hitzler of Bedford, Ohio: a brother, LeRay Rexrode of Monterey; and two step grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin, W.Va. by the Rev. Nelson Lea.

Active Pallbearers will be Carl Hull, Glen Rexrode, Nelson Simmons, Carl Wagner, Sam Barlow, Charles Rexrode, Jim Skinner and Dale Wagner.
