Ursula Smith

Ursula Anderson Smith, 30, of Gordonsville, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002 in Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

She was born May 14, 1972 in El Paso, Texas and was the daughter of Roger Ernest and Dr. Constance Huddleston Anderson of Hightown.

Mrs. Smith is also survived by her husband, Darren Carl Smith of Gordonsville, and a son, Leif Huddleston Smith, 3 ½ .

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 9 at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville by Pastor Carmon Hartsfield.

On Saturday, August 10, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Union Chapel United Methodist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Gibson will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Houston Smith, Dareld Puffenbarger, Herman Puffenbarger, Stuart Simmons, Carl Lee Simmons and Delmar Vandevander.

Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville and Obaugh Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
