Tudie Lee Mullenax, 87, died on Thursday, December 24, 1998 at Pendleton Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on March 7, 1911 at Dry Run, WV, a daughter of the late Troy and Kate (Warner) Waybright.
She was a member of the Circleville Presbyterian Church, a member of the Blue Grass Extension Homemakers and the Highland County Senior Citizens.
On August 5, 1926 she married James Edward Mullenax, who preceded her in death on July 12, 1989.
Surviving are five daughters, Avis Veli of Adelphi, Md., Grace Smith of Nokesville, Flenna Moyers of Upper Marlboro, Md., Nancy Hedges of Bristow and Linda Wolfond of Manassas; two sons, Brooks of Circleville, WV and Owen Mullenax of Nokesville; four sisters, Teresa Lambert of Franklin, WV, Gwendolyn Day of Absecon, NJ, Elizabeth Foster of St. Roberts, Mo., and Ardath Murphy of Circleville WV; two brothers, Joe of Alexandria and Troy Waybright Jr. of Warsaw, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Gibson.
Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darold and Tom Mullenaxx, Jimmy Veli, Jerry Smith, Doug Moyers, David Hedges and William Wilfong.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 today and 6-9 tonight at the funeral home in McDowell.
