Theodore Pullin

Theodore Pullin, 92, died Friday, December 17, 1999 at Augusta Medical Center.

He was born December 14, 1907, at Highland County, a son of the late Frank and Bertha Elllen (Wooddell) Pullin.

He was retired from the state highway department.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Chloe Pullin, Bertie P. Parsons, Lenore P. Hook and Annabell P. Simmons; and four brothers, Burton, Marvin, Melvin and Hugh E. Pullin.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine (Terry) Pullin of Staunton; a step-son and his wife, Ray and Ruth Bussard of Staunton; a sister, Vada P. Tuning of Churchville; and a number of nieces and nephews, including special friend, Linda Jean Taliaferro.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Bradford Moles and George Polhill. Burial will be in Valley Bethel Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Cline, Danny Napier, Frank Pullin, Gilbert Pullin, Jim Taliaferro, Lowell Terry, Tommy Terry and Elmer Waybright.

Honorary pallbearers will be Erwin Bussard, Jim Carroll, Dr. Quinton Carr, Dr. Douglas Degen, Dick Eagle, Frank Tuning, William Tuning, Harper Terry J. and Paul Terry.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
