Thelma Davis

Thelma Ruth Davis, 82, of Williamsville, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at her home.

She was born November 29, 1918, at Tyrone, Pa., a daughter of Robert E. and Maude Grazier Wilson.

She was a member of United Brethren Church at Tyrone, Pa. She retired as a secretary in the public schools in Blair County, Pa., and was the secretary of the school study council at Penn State University.

She was preceded in death by three sisters; and a brother.

On May 30, 1941, she married Nevin C. Davis.

Survivors include her husband, Nevin C. Davis of Williamsville; a daughter, Christine C. Tate of Bellefonte, Pa.; two sons, Nevin W. or Burnsville and Bruce K. Davis of Bellefonte, Pa.; three granddaughters, Amelia, Alexis and Melissa; and three brothers, Merle Wilson of Houston, Carl and Clifford Wilson, both of Tyrone, Pa.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
