CRIMORA Dallas Ray Doyle, Sr., 88, of Crimora and formerly of Monterey, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home. Mr. Doyle was born May 26, 1926 in Mustoe a son the late Ira Ernest and Emma May (Folks) Doyle. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dallas was a self-employed carpenter and formerly worked as a mechanic. He will be remembered as a loving provider and genuinely good man, always placing others needs ahead of his own. Additionally, he enjoyed bluegrass music, often traveling to watch groups perform. Mr. Doyle was preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Faye (Rowan) Doyle, of Crimora; his daughter, Sandra Ann McCarty of Frost, WV; two sons, Dallas "Ricky" Ray Doyle, Jr. and Donald Wayne Doyle both of Monterey; his sister, Thelma "Mae" Hull of Monterey; a granddaughter, Amanda Gail McCarty of Frost; great-grandson, Connor Taylor; stepdaughter, Becky Yeary, and husband Mike, with whom Dallas and his wife resided; three step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren; as well as his cherished dog, Maggie. A memorial graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Hamilton Chapel Cemetery.
