Sewell Warner Jr.

Sewell “Jack” Warner, Jr. age 76, of Mustoe, died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Augusta Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1930 at Head Waters a son of the late Sewell Jackson, Sr. and Ruth (Gutshall) Warner.
Mr. Warner was a member of Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church. He was an owner of “Jack’s Interiors” and a contractor. He enjoyed hunting and farming.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hammer and a brother, Ira G. Warner.
He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and George Marshall of Staunton, Terry and Roy Foster of Luray, Kerry and Terry Hoover of Mt. Crawford and Jennifer Warner of Alexandria; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Barbara Warner of Vinton and Perry and Patricia Warner of Monterey; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a sister, Rosa Lou Hawn and her husband, Don of Kingsport, TN and two foster sisters, Irene McAllister and Janet Marie Marshall, both of Mustoe.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Rev. Donald E. Rose. Burial will be in Monterey Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Berlie Terry, C.R. Zullig, Joe Corbett, C.W., Mike and Dale Hammer. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
