Williamsville, VA Sandra Neill Robinson, 71, of the Williamsville community in Highland County, left to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born Sept 10, 1942 in Florala, Alabama a daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary Neill (Smith) Albritton. Mrs. Robinson was a faithful member of McDowell Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, R.D. Robinson; her son, Steve Robinson and wife, Jennifer of Churchville, VA; her daughter, Melissa Robinson Spittle and husband, Don of Blacksburg, VA; 2 granddaughters, Molly Robinson of �Churchville, VA and Ashley Welch and husband, Jason of Centerville, VA; her grandson, Christopher Robinson and wife, Kelly of Dante, VA, as well as her sisters, Mary Leah Veneable of Goodlettsville, TN and Theresa Phillips of Little River, AL. A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at McDowell Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Beth Pyles officiating. Additionally, the family will hold a celebration of her life at the home of R.D. and Sandra, 332 Flood Lane, Williamsville, VA, to be announced at a later date. Family and friends will be notified. A second memorial service and inurnment will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia, Alabama, also to be announced at a later date. At the family's request memorial contributions may be made to the McDowell Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 66, McDowell, VA 24458. Donations will be applied towards the Heifer Fund International and the Presbyterian Children's Home of Wytheville, VA.
