Samuel Ray

Samuel H. Ray, 41, died Thursday, February 19, 1998 at Bath County Community Hospital.

He was born on April 9, 1956, at Marlinton, WV, a son of Dewey Harlan Ray and Georgie (Grimes) Ray Helmick.

He attended Life Line Ministries Church.

In addition to his widow, Donna Ray, of Hot Springs, he is survived by two daughters, Malissa Ray, at home, and Amanda Ray of Staunton; three sisters, Jean Grimes of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Ruth White of Cherry Grove, WV and Patty Lipscomb of Stafford; and two brothers, Earl Grimes of Pennsylvania and Dennie Ray of Verona.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ray.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Cleek Cemetery by the Rev. Frankie Neff.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at Obaugh Funeral Home.
