Ruby Vaiden Hamilton

Ruby Vaiden Hamilton, 76, of Hot Springs, died Sunday morning, August 28, 1994 in Bath County Community Hospital.

She was born February 10, 1918 at Mustoe, a daughter of Albert and Mary Susan (McAllister) Gum.

She had been employed at the Homestead Hotel for 15 years.

Her husband, Willis Hamilton, died April 6, 1993.

Survivors include one son, Charles Edward Hamilton of Hot Springs; one brother, William Dale Gum of Monterey; and one granddaughter.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. John Haymaker.

Burial will be in the Hamilton Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Terry, Rocky Phillips, Jimmy Varner, Jimmy Lindsay, Buddy Hunt and Jimmy Hiner.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
