Ruby Bolling

Bolar, VA Ruby Lee Bolling, 85, of Bolar, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at her home. She was born December 14, 1927 in Durbin, WV, a daughter of the late Ellis and Mamie Pearl (Walton) Walton. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker and a friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sport fishing and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Stewart Norris "Chief" Bolling on August 1, 2009 and her daughter, Vikki Godshall. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl B. Elliott and husband, Clarence of Richmond and Lynda Kriznik of Bolar; two sons, Roger S. Bolling of Lake Worth, FL and Robert B. Bolling and Jenny Botkin of Bolar; seven grandchildren, Josey L. Bolling of Bolar, Dustin S. and Jesse S.. Bolling of Lake Worth, FL, Scott, Mark and Jason Elliott and Colleen Parlante, all of Richmond; great-grandson, Todd Elliott; brother, Lacy Walton of Orlando, FL and sister-in-law, Barbara B. Downs of Vanderpool and Washington, DC. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Highland County Rescue Squad, P.O.
