Rosy S. Zimmerman

Rosy S. Zimmerman, 89, of Staunton, died on Saturday, October 29, 1994 at Shenandoah Nursing Home.

She was born on January 7, 1905 in Pendleton County, WV, a daughter of Calvin and Liza Jane (Cayton) Simmons.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Frank Zimmerman, died on March 9, 1977.

Surviving are a a daughter, Ruth Z. Siron of Staunton; a son, Paul Zimmerman of Churchville; sister, Fannie Moats of Moyers, WV; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by Dr. Fred Holbrook, with burial in St. Paul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark and Ervin Dale Zimmerman, Rony Bosserman, Greg Warmock, Michael La Follette and Arlan Moats.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friend an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
