Roscoe C. Rexrode

Roscoe C. Rexrode, 78, of Monterey died Saturday, October 1, 1994 at his home. He was born November 25, 1915 at Monterey, a son of Floyd W. and Lillie Mae (Wimer) Rexrode.

On January 28, 1939, he was married to Juanita Halterman, who survives of Monterey.

He was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, surviving are one daughter, Joyce Goodbar of Monterey; one son, Marlin Rexrode of Franklin, WV; two sisters, Eva Puffenbarger of Blue Grass and Wanda Carroll of Monterey; three brothers, Ralph of Monterey, Carl of Hot Springs and Delmar Rexrode of Staunton; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Obaugh Funeral Home by Pastor James Goforth. Burial will be in the Bowers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Guy Wimer, Herman Puffenbarger, Wayne, Glen, Earl and Rick Halterman, Frankie Rexrode and Olin Waybright.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 Monday at the funeral home in McDowell.
