Rodger Dale Beverage, 41, of Nashville, Tn., and formally of Monterey, Va., died on Friday, December 18th, 1992 after a long illness.
He was born on September 9th, 1951 in Staunton, Va., a son of Lawrence and Lalie (Varner) Beverage of Monterey.
He had been employed as food service manager for the Marriot Hotel in Nashville. He was a member of Seybert Chapel United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Highland County High School and National Business College in Roanoke, Va.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Thelma Chestnut of Dale City, Va.; two brothers, James of Staunton and Berlin Beverage of Fredericksburg, Va.; a niece; three nephews; one great- nephew; and by special friends, Dan McCormick, Molly Snell, Patty Pettus, Matthew Cushing, Gary Furlong, and Ray Pickett.
His body was cremated.
A memorial service will be conducted at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. David Schill, with burial at Beverage Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
