Robert "Logan" Stuber

Robert “Logan” Stuber, 14, of Monterey, died Friday, May 2, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident.  He was born June 3, 1993 in Staunton.

He was a student at Highland High School and a member of the school band, the track team and he also played soccer.  He enjoyed Logos.  He loved camping, crabbing and fishing, with his father on the Eastern Shore.

He is survived by his mother, Tina M. Stuber of Monterey; his father, Robert R. and wife, Teresa Stuber of Hebron, MD; five brothers, William Canter Lambert, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Michael “Draven” Nash Duncan of the home, Brandon, Shawn and Matthew Martin, all of Hebron, MD; two sisters, Rachel and Jojo Martin, both of Hebron, MD; maternal grandmother, Meredith A. Colaw of Hot Springs; paternal grandparents, Bob and Kris Stuber of Salisbury, MD; maternal great-grandmother, Elsie Hull of Doe Hill; aunts, Kay Spangler, Paula Colaw and Kim Moyers; uncles, Richard Stuber, Perry Moyers and Johnny Gwin and a special friends, James Hass and Michael Todd Duncan, both of Monterey.  Logan loved his dog, “Pinky”.

He was preceded in death by an aunt, Stacy Jane Stuber and his grandfather, John Clifton Gwin.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Word of Faith Church by the Rev. Mark Davis and Rev. Chris Scott.  Burial will be in Monterey Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Brandon, Shawn and Matthew Martin, Roger Imhoff, Jimmy Carter, Josh, Shaun and Jonathon Gwin.  Honorary pallbearers will be his 8th Grade Classmates and Highland High School students.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell.
