Rebecca "Becky" Ann Hull

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Hull, 56, of Blue Grass died June 10, 1993, at the University of Virginia Hospital.

She was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Blue Grass and was a daughter of the late George E. and Virgie Bell Swecker Colaw.

She was a member of New Church United Methodist Church and was a bookkeeper for Hull’s Machine Shop for 30 years. She was also a van driver for the Highland County Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her husband, Carl W. Hull of Blue Grass; three sisters, Dorothy Shepherd of Monterey, Virginia Curry of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Mary Margaret Ruddick of Weyers Cave; four brothers, Paul and George E. Colaw, both of Blue Grass, Wayne Colaw of Cherry Grove, WV, and John David of Bacova; and three granddaughters, Ashley, Hannah and Cynthia Hull.

The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday in the Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Rev. Richard Gibson. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence, but friends also may call at the funeral home at any time.
