Ray Reynolds Siron, 76, a retired farmer of Monterey, died Saturday, May 14, 1994 in King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born April 18, 1918 at Doe Hill, a son of Loyd C. and Ruth (Farote) Siron.
He was a member of Seybert Chapel United United Methodist Church. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Bess Siron of Monterey; a step-daughter, Betty Ann Beverage of Palmyra; two step-sons, Grant A. Siron of Front Royal and Gary D. Samples of Falls Church; four sisters, Pauline Sullenberger and Judy Waybright, both of Monterey, Doris Swadley and Geraldine Turner, both of Waynesboro; a brother Glen Siron of Florida; and seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Haley. Burial will be in the Beverage Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randolph Samples, Jack, Robert, Wayne, Cyril and John Beverage, Alvie Gum and Rudolph Siron.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
