Randall Odell Roberts

Randall Odell Roberts, age 65, of Burnsville, died on Thursday evening, November 5th, 1992 at his residence.

He was born on February 2nd, 1997 at Burnsville, a son of Clarence and Virginia (Pullin) Roberts. 

On August 22nd, 1952, he married Maxine Carter.

He served 22 years as an employee and later supervisor of CSX Railway System. He was a member of Burnsville United Methodist Church.

In addition to his widow, survivors include four daughters, Kathy Knight of Hot Springs, Rita Shifflett of Crozet, and Diana Pace and Sirita Fewell, both of Stanardsville; two sons, Danny Ray of Millboro and Roger Q. Roberts of Crozet; a sister, Maudy Schurtz of McDowell; six brothers, Richard, Grady, Lacy, Cletis, Roscoe and Raymond Roberts, all of Burnsville; 10 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at Burnsville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Frankie Neff, with burial at Burnsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Fred Gibson, Charles McCormick, Jay Gallamore, Richard Jr., Grady Jr. and Wesley Roberts, Wendell Jr. and Clarence Schurtz and Steve and James Hughes.
