Ramon Milburn, Jr.
March 11, 1937 — November 16, 2016
Ramon Meade Milburn, Jr., of Henrico departed this life on November 16, 2016 at the age of 79. Ramon was a son of the late Ramon and Mary Milburn.
Ramon enlisted in the Navy in 1957 and served upon the USS San Marcos. He received an honorable discharge in 1963 and went to work for the City of Richmond. Ramon retired from the City of Richmond Fire Department after 25 years of employment as a firefighter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Waybright) Milburn; his sister, Patricia Ann Campos; and his brother, Carl Milburn.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Steven Milburn and wife, Sandra; his grandson, Jonathan Milburn and wife, Marithe; great-granddaughters, Sawyer and Izalia; his brother, Harry Milburn; his sister, Elizabeth Skeels; nieces, nephews and extended family.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Hamilton Chapel Cemetery, Highland County, with the Pastor Chip Hill officiating.
