Paul Brycen Lowry, 73, of Hot Springs died Friday, February 18, 2000 at Bath County Community Hospital.
He was born October 2, 1926, at Bolar, a son of Glen Brycen and Myrtle Mae (Wilmoth) Lowry.
He married Charlotte Wolfe on July 3, 1955.
He attended Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church. He had worked for The Homestead for 23 years and served in the Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy Lee Lowry; three sisters, Glenna Mae and Annabelle Lowry and Ruby Hevener; and five brothers, Clyde, Clark, Carl, Jack and Vernon Lowry.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Lowry of Hot Springs; four daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and F.D. Kelley of Millboro, Pearly and David Clatterbuck Sr. of Warm Springs, Brenda and Jason Hiner of Hot Springs and Ruby and Jay Hiner Jr. of Hot Springs; a son and daughter-in-law Allen Glen Sr. and Sherry V. Lowry of Mustoe; a sister, Pearl Bowles of Charleston, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; six step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald E. Rose.
Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Hicks, Tommy and Lowell Terry, Vernon Lee Lowry, Jerry Lowry and Charles Rexrode Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening at the funeral home.
