Pamela Robertson

Hot Springs Pamela Marie Robertson, age 39, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1975 in Allegheny County, a daughter of Danny Lee and Kathy Marie (Liptrap) Robertson of Warm Springs. Ms. Robertson graduated from Bath County High School, as well as Bridgewater College where she earned her bachelor's degree. She was a member of the Chimney Run Church of the Brethren. A social worker, Ms. Robertson loved people and dedicated her life to helping others, most especially the elderly. Social work was not only her career, it was her passion. She will be remembered for her love of singing and as a member of the former Chimney Run Inspirations Gospel Group. Pamela enjoyed time spent playing the guitar, swimming in the ocean, sports, and overall simply being with family and friends. She was loved and will be missed by those whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Kathleen Liptrap and uncle, Kenny Liptrap. In addition to her parents surviving family members include her fiancé, John Fitzgerald of Hot Springs; sister, Tonya Carter of Williamsburg, WV; special friend (whom she loved as a sister), Britney Chestnut of Warm Springs; paternal grandparents, Calvin and Betty Robertson, of Warm Springs; maternal grandfather, Donnie Liptrap of Warm Springs; a number of uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren with Pastor Billy Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Active pallbearers include Ronnie and David Liptrap, George, Dennis, Calvin, Tommy, Ronnie, and Randy Robertson.
