Pamela Kay (Pritt) Deel, age 71, wife of William “Billy” Dixon Deel, of Hot Springs, Va, passed away peacefully and surrounded by those she loved on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born in Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington D.C., on August 30th, 1953, Pamela was a daughter of the late Willie Marvin Pritt and Mattie Lois “Teetie” Bogan Pritt.

Ever hospitable, Pam was a former banquet manager of the Homestead, and had recently retired as the manager of Affordable Corporate Suites in Roanoke, where she touched countless lives.

To know Pamela was to love her; her friends and family would attest she was a flurry of energy and exuded happiness everywhere she went. She enjoyed her time spent reading and visiting the beach. Her fun, feisty personality, care for everyone around her, and bright smile will forever cement her in loved one’s hearts. Simply put, she will be remembered as an amazing woman who loved her life and lived it to the fullest.

In addition to her parents, predeceased family members include a son, William “Billy” Dixon Deel II; sister, Theresa Lois “TC” (Pritt) Persinger; and a brother, Dennis Wayne Pritt.

Along with her husband, surviving family members include, her daughter, Dawn Webb and husband, Tom of Cleveland, N.C.; a son, Freddy Deel of Falling Springs; grandchildren, Stephanie Loan, Andrew Gray, Thomas Webb, Ethan Webb, Wyatt Deel, Ella Deel, Jackson Deel and Emmalee Deel; six great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Seaton and husband, John of Sneads Ferry, N.C., special friend and sister-in-law, Barbara Deel Mernin; additional special friends, Melinda (Fry) Walker and Novelette Copperman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

A memorial service to commemorate Pamela’s life will be held at a later date.
