Oscar Dale Hiner, 78, of Verona, died Sunday night, December 20th, 1992 in King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1914 at Cass, W. Va., a son of William V. and Grace (Wade) Hiner.
He was a member of Green Hill United Methodist Church.
He had served in the U.S Army Air Force. After 36 years employment with Walter’s Floor Service, he retired to Verona where he lived for two years.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Hiner of Verona; a daughter, Carol Swan of Waldorf, Md.; a son, William C. Hiner of Newberg, Md.; four grandchildren, Leslie and Richard Swan of Waldorf, Md., and T.J. and Rebecca Hiner of Newberg, Md.; three nieces, Mary Louise Eckard of Mt. Sidney. Va., Brenda Ziros of Warrenton, Va., and Ida Carter of Locust Grove, Va.; and friends, Tom and Ruby McNeal of Cheltenham, Md.
A service will be conducted at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. David Schill.
Burial will be in Monterey Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe and Stuart Hiner, Paul Richard Swan, Tom McNeel, Curtis Via Jr., Dennis Clark and Bob Eckard.
