Ocie Fay Hise, 52, of Warm Springs, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge. She was born February 16, 1956 in Bath County a daughter of Annie Fay (Tidd) Helmick and the late David Hinkle Hiner.
Mrs. Hise had worked at Aileen, Inc., Jessico, Mountain View Service Station and Kool-Dri.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Gilbert “Gibby” Hatcher and a half-brother, Steve Allen Helmick.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Hise of Warm Springs; her mother, Annie Fay Helmick of Monterey; a daughter and son-in-law, Candi and Jerry Lowry of Millboro; a step-daughter, Julie Meadows of Warm Springs; a step-son, Wes Hise of Warm Springs; a granddaughter, Destynie Renae Lowry; a step-grandson, Brian Lowry; and a half- brother, Roy Scott Helmick of Monterey.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Jacob Cleek Cemetery by the Rev. Derek Tomek
Active pallbearers will be Vernon Lowry, Brian Lowry, Tommy Baldwin, Jerry Liptrap, Johnny Ailstock and Barry Moyers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell.
