Ned T. Madison, 82, of Mill Gap, died Monday night, December 27, 1993 at Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs.
He was born December 26, 1911 at Beaver Creek, WV, a son of Ed and Lucy (McComb) Madison.
He was an Army veteran, having fought in Guadacanal and was awarded the Bronze Star.
He was a farmer and had retired from C&O Railwoad, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance Way. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
Survivors include his by his life companion, Glenna S. Curry of Mill Gap; step sister, Deborah Callison of Hillsboro, WV; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service is tentatively scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home and will be conducted by Chip Hill and the Rev. C. William Cox, with burial in Green Hill Cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers will be George Bird, Mac Ratcliffe, Joe Simmons, Shorty Schultz, Paul McLaughlin, Ralph Smith, Carl Chestnut and Jimmy Cauley.
