Micah Ernest Miller

Micah Ernest Miller, 42, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away, Monday, December 19, 2022.

He was born March 13, 1980 the son of Basil and Dixie (Hook) Miller of Waynesboro.

A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Micah went on to serve with the U.S. Navy. Following his discharge, he worked as a marine engineer and merchant marine with several shipping carriers, most recently Matson, Inc. Micah loved traveling and being on the ocean. He will be remembered as being well-liked by many and friendly to all.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Sandra Lee Gill and husband, Leonard of Millboro, Va.

He was predeceased by a sister, Rebecca (Miller) Glover, who passed in 1997.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Head Waters Cemetery with Rev. Les LaPrade officiating.

Obaugh Funeral Home staff will receive those wishing to pay respects throughout the day Friday, December 30th, between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
