Mazie Ralston

Mazie Frances Ralston, 90, of Monterey died Monday evening, February 10, 1997 at Friendship Manor Nursing Center in Roanoke.

She was born October 2, 1906 at Mustoe, a daughter of Tildon ad Lillie Florence (Turner) Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Ralson on April 23, 1991; a son, Chales L. Ralston and two infant daughters, Hallis May and Mary Ann Ralston.

She is survived by a daughter, Lois Hevener of Monterey; a son, Merdith "Mert" Ralston of Salem; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald Rose. Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Arnet Gutshall, Roy Gutshall, Clem Kincaid, Jimmy Hiner, Berlie Terry, James Varner, Ronnie White, Tommy Terry and Dallas Doyle.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
