Matthew Pitsenbarger

Matthew Tyler Pitsenbarger, 2 ½, died Sunday, March 24, 2002 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha.

He was born Aug. 20, 1999, at Offutt Air Force base, the son of Larry A. and Ruth A. Pitsenbarger of Bellevue.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry C. Pitsenbarger of Amherst, Va. and his maternal grandmother, Mary Christina Nicol of Gloucestershire, England.

Surviving are his parents; his paternal grandmother, Virginia M. Pitsenbarger of Amherst; uncles and aunts, Wendell and Rebecca Pitsenbarger and Harold and Susan Pitsenbarger, all of Amherst, Va., Betty and Delroy Artman of Berwick, Pa., Will and Patty Nicol, Angus and Karen Nicol and Linda and Richard Burrows, all of Gloucestershire, England; cousins, Christopher, Benjamin and Timothy Artman of Berwick, Pa., John Kerns IV of Atlanta, Ga., Dr. Robnet Kerns of Richmond, Va., and Anna Nicol and Paul Harris, both of Gloucestershire, England.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell, Va. with the Rev. David Donahue officiating. Burial will be at the St. Paul Cemetery at Moyers, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
