Mary Agnes (Hodge) Tenerowicz, 65, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bill Kincaid.
She was born September 22, 1944 in Bath County a daughter of Bland N. Hodge of Fishersville and the late Gladys (Simmons) Hodge.
Mrs. Tenerowicz retired from Penny Plate of Virginia and was a U.S. Army veteran.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Tenerowicz and an infant brother, Bland N. Hodge, Jr.
In addition to her father, she is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Shawn George, Lorie and Rose Tenerowicz; son, Lawrence J. Tenerowicz, all of Staunton; three grandsons, Kevin Robertson of Greenville, Steven Gray of Harrisonburg and Nathan Tenerowicz of Staunton; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Robertson of Crimora; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Doris and Ron Bartee of Myrtle Beach, SC., Janet Gray of Wisc., Judy and Bill Kincaid of Staunton, Patsy Hupman of Fishersville and Diane and Jim Wilson of Fishersville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Debbie Hodge of Raphine and Robert (Doc) Hodge of Middlebrook; her aunt Gracie Simmons of Staunton and her uncle Frank and his wife, aunt Ruby Hodge of Millboro and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell with Punker Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Williamsville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Robert, Wayne, Allen Keyser, Michael and Joseph Barnett, Dennis Rhea and Frankie Hodge.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
