Mary Smith

Mary Rella Smith, 83, died on Thursday, December 10, 1998 at the residence of her daughters.

She was born on October 13, 1915, at Sugar Grove, WV, a daughter of Jasper Lee and Timothy (Simmons) Puffenbarger.

She was a member of Crummett Run Brethren Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson Smith.

Survivng are a daughter, Vickie Losh of Brandywime, two sons, Dale C. of Baltimore and Norval J. Puffenbarger of Charles Town; two sisters, Ora Mae Snyder of Head Waters and Bessie Botkin of Verona; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Obaugh Funeral by the Rev. Stelman Smith, with burial in Crummett Run Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carson and David Snyder, Ray Hodge, James Smith, Nelson Simmons and Wilmer Botkin.

Flowerbearers will be Nancy and Holly Puffenbarger, Doris Hodge, Sandra Snyder, Grace Simmons, Jenny Armstrong, Alice Jean Coffee, Cindy Smith and Isabelle Kincaid.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
