Mary Emma Hamilton

Mary Emma (McLaughlin) Hamilton, 98, of Mustoe died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 1992 at Springs Nursing Home, Hot Springs.

She was born on November 15, 1893 at Mustoe, a daughter of Ewen and Elizabeth (Hite) McLaughlin.

She was a member of Victory Advent Christian Church and the WHFM Society.

On June 28, 1913, when was married to Robert Kenton Hamilton who died June 4, 1984.

Surviving are four daughters, Blanch H. Folks of Laurel, Md., Annie Baldwin of Fishersville and Margaret Hamilton and Norma Hunt, both of Mustoe.; 11 grandchildren' 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by two sons, Loyd Hamilton and Carlen "Bill" Hamilton.

A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Ivan Young, with burial in McLaughlin Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Robert Hamilton, Buddy Hunt, James, Tommy and Ronnie Folks and Larry and Hugh Baldwin.
