Margaret Gray Helmick

Margaret Gray Helmick, 61, died Tuesday morning, January 19, 1993 at the home of her sister, Nora Lee Bennett of McDowell.

She was born June 17, 1931 at Augusta County and was the daughter of George Henry and Beatrice Elizabeth (Riley) Helmick.

She had worked for Western State Hospital for 20 years and was associated with the Jehovah Witnesses.

In addition to her sister, survivors include two brothers, Harry Lee Helmick of Raphine and James Edward Helmick of Stuarts Draft; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home by Walter Sutherland.

Burial will be in in Headwaters Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Cox, Donald Murphy, Richard Hinkle, Charlie Gordon, William Bussard and Clyde Bevens.
