Margaret Babcock

MONTEREY – Margaret “Ann” Babcock, 67, of Monterey passed away at her home Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
She was born the youngest child of the late Henry Ame and Margaret Ann (Taylor) Babcock in Denver, Colorado on May 20, 1950.
Ann worked at the Highland County Public Library and was a member of Monterey United Methodist Church and the Highland County SPCA. She will be remembered for her love of animals, books and people. She spent many hours volunteering in her community.
Ann is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and Doug Smith, of Monterey; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Patricia Babcock of Northfield, Vermont and John and Jeanne of Wheatridge, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at The Highland Center.
