Luella Woods Malcolm, 72, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at Augusta Medical Center.
She was born February 17, 1929 at Lodi, Ohio, a daughter of Ralph Clifford and Nellie Mae Simcox Woods.
She was employed as an office manager at Stonewall Veterinary Clinic and was a member of McDowell Presbyterian church. While living in Florida, she was a volunteer at the hospital. Her favorite hobby was making ceramic animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband, Donald R. Malcolm of McDowell, whom she married May 5, 1984; a daughter, Deanna Kay Rosier of Belleview, Fla.; two step-daughters, Beverly Ann Kunc of Lincoln, Neb., and Debi Sue Wilson of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a step-son Donald R. Malcolm Jr. of Punta Gorda, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Jane Zimmerman of Wooster, Ohio and Violet Mat Carr of Wadsworth, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren, Melanie and Jason of Belleview, Fla., Jessica and Dean of Punta Gorda, Fla., Patrick and Michael of Lincoln, Neb., and Vickki, Elizabeth, Matthew and Jessica of Punta Gorda, Fla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lester LaPrade officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Stonewall Ruritan Club,
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Thursday at the funeral home.
