Louie Jane Kavanaugh, 101, of Franklin, WV died Friday, January 24, 1997 at Pendleton Nursing Home.

She was born November 24, 1895, near Moyers, WV the daughter of the late Jacob Riley and Hannah Catherine Simmons Armstrong.

She was a registered nurse and practiced in the Washington, DC area, where she lived until 1989 when she entered the nursing home.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Norman Nilsen will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
