Linda Helmick

Linda Lee (Wade) Helmick, 38, of Monterey Died on Friday, June 16, 1995 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 24, 1957 at Mill Gap, a daughter of Robert Bickley Sr. and Jackie P. Wade.

She was a member of Green Hull United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Michael Leonard Helmick, died on June 6, 1993.

In addition to her mother, surviving are a daughter, Brandi Lynn Helmick of Monterey; a son, Jeremy S. Helmick of Monterey; a sister, Lillian Grace Botking of Monterey; a brother, Robert Bickley Wade Jr. of Crozet; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Richard Gibson, Robert Haley and Jerry Ginn, with burial in Wade Cemetery, Mill Gap.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Harris, Jeremiah McLamiah, J.W. Cox, David and R.C. Wade and Jimmy Schooler.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and relatives attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.  Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home at McDoweel.
