Lillian D. Kincaid, 89, of Bolar, died Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the home of her daughter. She was born July 10, 1918 at Mustoe a daughter of the late Ceba Blaine and Frances (Doyle) Doyle. In June 1935, she married Guy Kincaid, who preceded her in death in 1977. She was also predeceased by a sister, Mae Turner and four brothers, Raymond, George, Paul and Calvin Doyle.
Mrs. Kincaid was a homemaker and had retired from the housekeeping department at The Homestead. She attended Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church and was a member of Bolar Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Jack Woodzell of Hot Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Clem and Jane Kincaid of Monterey; six grandchildren, Susan Murray, Dennis Kincaid and Lisa Kodger, all of Monterey, Michael Kincaid of Warm Springs; Carla Hickman and Lou Kincaid, both of Hot Springs; nine great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Daisy Terry of Bolar and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2007 at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Rev. Donald E. Rose and Rev. Lennie Stinnett. Burial will be in Jacob Cleek Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Dennis, Michael and Lou Kincaid, Les Kodger, Aareon Murray, Gary Hickman and Russell Woodzell. Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her home in Bolar.
