Leona "Rosie" Jane Smith

Leona Jane "Rosie" Smith, 71, of Harrisonburg, died Saturday evening, July 16, 1994 in the Camelot Hall Nursing Home.

She was born September 10, 1922 at Sugar Grove, WV and was the daughter of Harry and Polly (Losh) Puffenbarger.

She attended the Brethren Church. Her husband, Calvin J. Smith, died January 14, 1991.

She is survived by a daughter, Madaline Grogg of Rawley Springs; two sons, Harvey and Carl Puffenbarger, both of Staunton; two sisters, Ruth Hiner of Doe Hill and Mabel Puffenbarger of Mt. Solon; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Clover Creek Cemetery by the Rev. C. William Cox.

Active pallbearers will be Bud Knapp, William and Jennings Grogg and William Grogg Jr.
