Lee Botkin

Lee Monroe Botkin, 75, of Mount Crawford, passed away, Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 12, 1935 in Highland County, a son of the late Loyd Fleisher and Ressie Virginia Puffenbarger Botkin.
Mr. Botkin retired from Valley Proteins Inc.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo, Bobby and Vernon Botkin.
He is survived by a step-son, Adam West of Ohio; four sisters, Frances Lerdahl and husband Robert of Madison, Wisc., Myrtle Washington and husband Warren of Mount Crawford; Virginia Coffey and husband William of Stuarts Draft and Janet Nance and husband Jerry of Staunton; and two brothers, Stanley Botkin of Harrisonburg and Darhl Botkin of Mount Crawford.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Rev. Ray Eppard.
