Kwinton Omar King, 42, formerly of Monterey, died Thursday, February 13, 1997 at King Geroge in a construction accident.
He was born November 20, 1954, at Hot Springs, a son of Omar H. and Darlie (Gutshall) King.
He was a welder and a member of Boiler Makers Local Lodge 193 in Baltimore.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a son Eric Omar King of St. Leonard, Md.; sister Denise King of Montreey; three brothers, Terry and Kirk of Monterey and Darrin King of Nokesville, nephew, Aaron King; sister-in-law, Vickie King; special friend Rhonda Phelps; and numerous uncles and aunts.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn assisted by Jack Peters Jr. with burial at Monterey Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Shorter, Greg Fisher, Paul Mockabee, Norman Peters, Clem Kincaid, Gene Poats, Carlton Hull and Darrell Gumm Jr.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
