FRANKLIN, WV Kelley William Mullenax, 75, of Franklin, WV passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. He was born September 23, 1937, a son of the late John William and Dolf (Waybright) Mullenax. Kelley was a graduate of Monterey High School. As an excavator, he worked throughout Pendleton County. Honest and dependable, Kelley will be remembered as a man of genuine character, who never met a stranger. He enjoyed hunting, western movies, dancing, calling figures for square dances and working with his equipment. Above all, Kelley loved his family, most especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by four daughters, Lisa M. Amoroso of Charleston, WV; Kimberly Mullenax of Franklin, WV; and fiancé, Keith Holden; Ashley Arbogast and husband, Shawn, of Monterey and Misty Mach of Franklin, WV; four grandchildren, Micah Mullenax, Jordan Amoroso, Lucas Mullenax and Kylie Arbogast; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Avery Amoroso; sister, Lannie Baublitz and husband, Charles of Maryland; brother, B. Douglas Heise of Missouri; and beloved companion, Nancy Martin of Sugar Grove, WV. Also surviving are two special aunts and an uncle, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell. A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Obaugh Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Langston officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Keith Holden, Shawn Arbogast, Micah Mullenax, Jordan Amoroso, Lucas Mullenax, Bill Martin, Buck Waggy and Bill Muntzing.
