Jane Elizabeth Selecman Morrison, age 92, of 303 Hinson’s Court, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
A local funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Trinity United Methodist Church of Jacksonville, NC. The Rev. Dennis Goodwin will be officiating the services locally and another service will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, in Woodbridge, VA with the Rev. Bates officiating in Virginia.
The burial will follow at 4:00 pm in the Monterey Cemetery in Monterey, VA.
Mrs. Morrison was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Agnes Ann Lacy Selecman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Rev. John W. Morrison,
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Douglas of Jacksonville, NC, Carol B. Morrison of Florence, SC and Julia K. Morrison of Baldwin City, KS; one son, John W. Morrison of Elizabethtown, KY; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Jones Funeral Home, in Jacksonville, NC
