Ida Faye Weese, 79, of Fredericksburg and formerly of Clifton Forge, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born in Bath County, February 11, 1940 a daughter of the late William and Lunora (Messer) Bradley.
Ida attended Starr Bolar United Methodist Church and Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church. She had worked at The Homestead Casino as a dishwasher. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting, putting puzzles together and baking. Above all, her favorite thing to do was cut firewood.
She is survived by three daughters, Lee “Lunora” Doyle of Monterey, Linda Dawn Liptrap of Clifton Forge and Sherry Elizabeth Wolfe and Chuck Smith of Monterey; two sisters, Ardie Robertson of Warm Springs and Elizabeth Evens and husband, Art of Fredericksburg; grandchildren, Mike Sweeney, Joey Liptrap, Glen Hiner, Curtis Bradley and Sarah Wimer; as well as great-grandchildren, Kennedi Hiner, Mason, Martha and Aydynn Sweeney and Genevieve Wimer.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Jacob Cleek Cemetery with Pastor Walter “Buddy” Davis officiating.
Pallbearers will be friends and family in attendance.
